The uniqueness of the hotel, the room and the lobby area. We have never stayed in anything quite as unusual before but enjoyed every minute even it was only for one night. The remote control that controlled the tv, lights, air con, window shades and mood lighting was brilliant!!!! Even if it took a few minutes to get used to. The lobby area with free access to Apple computers is excellent and the free wi-fi in room was an added bonus (we were house hunting) and very simple to access. Check in and check out were a breeze, the staff were very helpful. For a short stay of a couple of days I would recommend this hotel. PS I read a previous comment saying parking charges were expensive. You can park your car in a council car park 500 yards away for £1:50 from 6 pm til 8 am. Street parking is like all big cities, expensive, if your daft enough to use it.
Corridors are narrow and we were wakened during the night by other guests returning to room.
Great location. Excellent ultra-modern facilities. Loved the communal areas. All new hotels should be like this!
Breakfast quite pricey but great cafe across the road.
This is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in excellant value for money, friendly staff. Wish there was a citizenM in every major city in the world
It was very well designed and the staff friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but it matter little as they were very comfortable (at least for the lone traveler). In fact, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower very nice as well.
I am afraid our trip to the hotel was not a great success. The room was far too small . The lavatory being situated in a glass box was not very private. The bed crammed up to the window meant that one could not walk to the window and look out. The surfaces were so narrow there was not enough room for our stuff. The clothes hanging space was mean and too short. There was no indentation for the soap so the whole surface was wet and slippery. We could not switch off the air-conditioning which hummed all night and made the air very dry.The worst point however is that in order to get a cup of tea one had to go to the bar!!!. This is so unnecessary. We are accustomed to having a tea when we feel like it and not having to get dressed first. Why were there no kettles and supplies? There was also no radio on the control panel and no bbc 4!
very special hotel i just loved and it and i certainly stay again in it
no room service
The massive bed with free movies and the design of the hotel
Price of drinks and snacks
The design! Absolutely brilliant, had a great time playing with it and my camera!
Room was quirky interesting and very clean. Bar was V. nice lively enought to be interesting with helpful staff.
Really nice, friendly and helpful staff. Amazing bed! Great shower. Lots of technical gadgets to play with. Free movies. They have the Michael Jackson Opus in the lobby, so great for fans.
The effiency of the whole place. The bed was really comfortable, not that much space in the room but everything that you need. Very high tech and the gadgets were fun. Shower was fantastic, would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Nothing - grand time
The free breakfast after the power went off. On the whole the hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful even thought they were having problems with the power supply. Would use the hotel again.
room was unusual if cramped
self service check in, credit card surcharge
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, fun and colourful concept (never get tired of changing the room / shower colour)! And free films, too.
Breakfast set up was a bit confusing, unclear what was included in the breakfast-buffet, and what was not. Perhaps not suitable for long-term stay (no real cupboard space), not suitable for families with children.
Great capsule hotel but with some added extras and a bit of thought about the design!
